The news in so cold

It is disturbing

It send shivers down my spine

Reporters giving their various reports

Pictures so graphic

Stories so compelling

Children crying

Mothers crying

Screaming people

Bleeding wounds

Chard bodies

Overturned cars

Burnt out buildings

When will this end

What will the outcome be

It is a Beautiful World!

As far as the eyes can see, there is beauty everywhere

Please do not spoil the beauty that you see.

It is there for tomorrow's children and their children's children.

Take a look, take a smell!

Imagine the aroma of the rain washed earth,

and remember the smell,

Let us not destroy it with hate, crime, greed and drugs....

The Lake

I visited the lake one cold fall morning

Saw its stillness lay, stretching far beyond.

The brightly coloured trees signals fall with

all its glow

I stepped out of the car and wandered near

Wanting to touch the leaves

and feel the icy cold water between my toes

But there in front of me,

Was the sign "No Trespassing"

I fell back, frightened,

What if I had stepped onto the property

What if I had gone to touch the leaves

What if I had dipped my toes, just a tiny dip!

Thank God I never did, I would not

want to know what the outcome would be!

The Flat Bridge

Why the name "The Flat Bridge"

Have you ever wondered,

Couldn't it be called some other name

Spanish Bridge, Rio Cobre Bridge, Snake Bridge

But it had to be called Flat Bridge

No side rails

Lying so calm, without emotions

Only that which is evoked inside you

When you cross that "Flat Bridge"

Take care "Flat Bridge"

Care of the Travellers.....

What will the Storm be

They have been patrolling the city streets

Seeking to find the notorious one

Moving in slowly for the "Storm"

His deeds are many and varied,

Good some say, bad most say

Others have no opinion

What do I say

It is the Calm before the storm

The Path

You see this trodden path, amidst the forest green. Life has so many trodden paths, some trampled and worn,
We sometimes feel trodden, trampled and worn,
Just like the path ahead,


We feel that there is nothing left to salvage,
And sometimes feel sad and lonely


No! dig deep my friend
You have it, down where you might least expect to find
Yes, the strength to carry on


Let us look at this path,
What do we see?
I'll tell you some of what I see
Experience, memories, .......


It is life's experiences and memories
In which we will find the strength to cope and carry on

Going to the Gym!

I am about to get dressed for my workout. When I return I will describe the event.

The Beginning!

A day of expirmenting and working on reports. It is the end of the work day and just waiting for the time to change for the gym. Must work out today, so that I can get that summer body. But guess what, I needed to get this up and running for a long time now and I finally did it.

It is completed and it was almost time to go home! I have created my own space.
A place where I can express my thoughts in words, pictures, etc.,

My friends can join me, encourage me and we can all create our timelines.

This is the beginning of a great adventure!
